Hightop Photo is really just me. When you email or call, I’m the one who answers. I take the photos. I process them. I’m CEO and janitor and everything in between.
In order to offer personalized service, I only shoot about 10 weddings a year and pride myself in a no stress, unobtrusive approach to wedding photography. No high-pressure sales, straightforward pricing, excellent customer service, and beautiful images that offer an honest document of your wedding are what makes Hightop Photo one of the best sources for wedding photography in Southwest Florida.
My extensive photojournalistic experience—over twenty years covering news in the U.S., Mexico and the Caribbean for The New York Times, Getty Images, The Toronto Star, Time, U.S. News and many other international publications—means you can relax and enjoy your wedding day as I candidly capture the big moments and the subtle details that define your personality and the essence of your special day.
I'm still a working photojournalist and teach part-time at Ringling College of Art and Design, one of the nation's premier art schools. I have exhibited widely, including at the El Paso Art Museum and the Southeast Museum of Photography in Daytona, Florida.
On the personal side, I'm married to the love of my life and have three teenage children and a dog that acts like a cat. I write fiction and I'm slowly learning to play the guitar. Feel free to visit me at: www.phildiederich.com
